Coaches need to make sure athletes know their rules and expectations at each practice and game site. Making sure the team knows the rules that are expected, what type of equipment they will need (if any), as well as what would happen if they weren’t careful is one of the most important parts of a sports coach’s job.

How Coaches Can Help Athletes to Avoid Common Injuries

Coaches can’t be with their athletes at all times. They need to trust that the athletes are acting responsibly and reasonably safely.

Athletes should always adhere to the following tips.

Warm-up Properly

This is important because it loosens up and warms up the muscles, so they don’t get pulled or strained too quickly.
