dayspamagazine.com – Between October 19 and 21, the International SPA Association (ISPA) hosted its 25th annualConference & Expo at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. The theme of this year’s event was “explore”, and its aim was to encourage attendees to celebrate how much the spa industry has accomplished over the last 25 years and look forward to what can be achieved in the next 25.
Close to 2,500 spa professionals gathered as Board Chairman Michael Tompkins opened the expo’s first general session on Monday, October 19. He emphasized the value of “taking a look at the world you make and the future you made possible” and then presented Boldijarre Koronczay with the ISPA 2015 Visionary Award. In his acceptance speech, the Éminence founder spoke of his appreciation for three families in his life: his ISPA family, his Éminence family, and his parents, grandmother and brother (and Éminence general manager) Attila. click here for more
