The Newly Opened “Landscape Hotel” Chooses Body Bliss’ Barefoot Botanist® Collection.
Sedona, Ariz. (June 21, 2023)— The Body Bliss™ Intentional Aromatherapy® team is honored to be Ambiente™ Sedona’s primary partner for spa products and protocols. With roots in biophilic design and sustainability, the Sedona-based “Landscape Hotel” is the ideal partner for Body Bliss, which focuses on natural and indigenous ingredients and spa treatments.

Our specialty is coming early in the development process to help our clients leverage the power of aromatherapy to reflect a property’s local flavor in and out of the spa,” said Body Bliss CEO Pam Sculthorp.
Ambiente’s modern and minimalistic spa has two treatment rooms and a couples’ suite. There are two experiential rooms—a dark sky lounge with an in-harmony sound lounge, and another with two Japanese tubs with nano-oxygenated water. Treatments surround three scent journeys from Body Bliss’s Barefoot Botanist® Collection: Calendula & Orange Myrtle, Chai Spice & Vanilla, and Lavender and Blue Chamomile.
“The Calendula Orange Myrtle is the scent of choice and guests love body treatments with Sedona Clay. Unlike any other spa that I’ve been involved with in my entire career, this spa is very couples focused. Our guests come for milestone events,” says Ambiente spa consultant Deborah Waldvogel, industry veteran and former Chair of the International Spa Association.
Waldvogel worked closely with Body Bliss when she was Director of Spa Operations at Mii Amo in Sedona to design products and services at Enchantment Resort. Body Bliss was an obvious choice when tasked with finding a local and sustainable brand to support the spa.
“We partnered with Body Bliss because we were looking for indigenous and local. It’s been fun getting to know this new team. We are just at the beginning of relationship, so it will be a fun exercise to learn about the opportunities over the next few months,” adds Waldvogel. I continue to challenge myself to make spa treatments different, unique and memorable, since these guests are coming here to celebrate special occasions.”
Opened at the beginning of February, Ambiente’s unique layout consists of 40 atriums encased in floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the Sedona landscape. The atriums complement the surrounding landscape while minimizing their intrusion on the land. Each of the 40 cabins (called atriums) has its own rooftop deck.
