Columbia SkinCare’s biotechnology division, Columbia Microbiome Sciences, has begun collaborating with other researchers to confirm the existence of the brain microbiome and its relationship to mental health. This groundbreaking work may lead to a better understanding of the cause of depression and new ways of treating and even preventing this disease.

Columbia SkinCare’s 7 year effort to develop a new technology for sun protection has led to the creation of the first Columbia SunCare product line.
