Press Release

New York-made Korean-inspired skincare, award-winning and results-driven facial protocols, and founder-led training provide 360-degree support

(New York, NY) – February 5, 2025 – Savor Beauty, the New York-based skincare brand renowned for its Korean beauty-inspired facials, has launched a turnkey “Glass Skin” facial program for select resorts, day spas and medical spas. The initiative equips spa directors and estheticians with Savor’s iconic products, treatment protocols, and support from founder Angela Jia Kim. Spa partners have access to a menu of the award-winning facials offered at Kim’s two Savor Spas in New York City – named “Best of New York” by The New York TimesVogue, and Goop.

“Our concept of Korean Beauty isn’t a trend – it’s a proven model for skin health. Now, we’re empowering others to build client loyalty through rituals – not just facials,” says Kim.

Program Highlights

  • Award-winning and results-driven facial protocols including the Glass Skin Facial and Carrot Rose Co10 Age Defense Facial and seasonal facials like the Valentine’s Day Velvet Rose Caviar Peptide Facia
  • Korean Beauty Techniques: Step-by-step guides for signature rituals like popular facial lift massage – featuring core elements of Savor’s “mul-gwang” (radiant glow) method.
  • In-demand retail products featured in the national press. Five-step numbered products and Discovery Travel Kits make home care easy and intuitive.
  • Spa marketing and rebooking scripts, secrets, and LOVER sales system. “Lunch & Learn” founder-led live trainings and video Product Knowledge trainings.
  • Retail-ready shelf displays, promotions and retail/marketing gifts for you and your guests throughout the year.
  • Access to Savor Beauty Esthetician School and esthetics training videos.
  • Minimal carbon footprint: Eco-friendly and sustainable practices with small-batched products and zero-waste packaging.

Founder’s Vision

As a former concert pianist, a bad reaction to a “natural” cream before going on stage caused Kim to completely rethink skincare.

I started mixing my own formulas in my kitchen, inspired by the Korean beauty rituals I grew up with—layering hydration, using nutrient-rich botanicals, and treating skincare as self-care. What started as a personal passion turned into Savor Beauty, and the NYC spas naturally followed. I love formulating products that truly heal the skin and working with my team to design facial rituals that bring these fresh products to life.”

Kim enjoys sharing her secrets for running a successful business and daily rituals to avoid burn-out in the challenging spa industry. She is the author of Radical Radiance: 12 Weeks of Self-Love Rituals to Manifest Abundance, Beauty, and Joy. Her Savor Beauty Self-Care Planner has sold more than 100,000 copies.

The Omega Wellness Center at the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies in Rhinebeck, New York, is an ideal partner, aligning perfectly with Savor Beauty’s philosophy of holistic skin health and sustainability.

At the Omega Wellness Center, we take a holistic approach to health and well-being, from the products we select to the wellness services we provide to the healthy lifestyle choices we aim to inspire. We’re thrilled to have discovered Savor Beauty’s organic, plant-based formulas, which are not only in alignment with Omega’s commitment to sustainability but easy to incorporate into our treatment options,” according to Michele Gibson, Manager at the Omega Wellness Center Manager.
