“I want to thank the FSMTA for giving us this platform to honor so many individuals over the years,” stated Lynda Solien-Wolfe, Vice President Massage and Spa, Performance Health. “Performance Health’s mission is to help people feel good, perform better and live great. The massage industry practices this everyday with their caring hearts and hands.

“It was truly a pleasure to present this year’s Humanitarian Award to yet another amazing humanitarian, Randy Brown,” continued Ms. Solien-Wolfe. “A true humanitarian cares about people they don”t even know and are the first to volunteer their time to help others, without asking for anything in return. They are someone who contributes positively to the human race through their caring nature. Simply put, a humanitarian makes other people’s lives better. Randy embodies these qualities and many more. Thank you, Randy!”

Randy Brown graduated from the Florida School of Massage Therapy in Gainesville, FL and has served on the FSMTA Board. He is currently the president of the North Central Florida chapter. Mr. Brown volunteers for church missions in Columbia where he ministers through massage techniques and active isolated stretching. He also works with the Never Say Never Foundation, a non-profit organization that works with paraplegic athletes and amputates to enhance their performance.

“It is a privilege to work with Performance Health to recognize this year’s Humanitarian Award winner, Randy Brown. Randy truly exemplifies the spirit of giving and volunteering. There are very few people who give so much of their time, energy and money to make such a powerful impact on those less fortunate. I am so proud to have him on my team and in our organization. Congratulations Randy on this well deserved honor and recognition,” added Joyce Prahasky, LMT, FSMTA Executive President/CEO.

“I am very humbled and honored to receive such a prestigious award,” said Randy Brown. “My prayer is to be able to continue to give back through the gift that my Heavenly Father has given me through the touch of my hands.” In addition to honoring Mr. Brown at the National Massage Convention, Performance Health will donate $500 to the Never Say Never Foundation and $500 to Ocala United in his name.
